Octopizzo: I have nothing to do with student’s death

Kenyan rapper Octopizzo is fighting claims of having a hand in the death of a teenager on Saturday.

The rapper, real name Henry Ohanga, has responded to allegations that he might be involved in the death of the 19 year-old, Kenneth Abom.

Speaking to Nairobi News, Octopizzo recalls that he was at home in Woodley Estate on Thursday with his sister when someone knocked at their gate.

The sister went for the gate, Kenneth said he had been sent to see Octopizzo, but his sister being used to such occurrences before denied him entry and requested that he should text, call or email Octopizzo’s management or Octopizzo himself to set up an appointment.

FORCED ENTRY

According to the rapper, Kenneth Abom did not to have respect his sister’s plea. He pushed her aside and forced entry, something that is said to have angered the host and he admits to have kicked him out immediately.

It is during that scuffle that a neighbour known to Octo identified Kenneth as a resident of the neighbourhood and Octopizzo let the matter slide.

Two days later on Saturday, Octopizzo saied he received news that the boy had died.

Octopizzo vehemently denies any involvement or wrongdoing whatsoever in Kenneth’s death.

The rapper claimed he is yet to receive any communication from the Kenneth’s parents or the police.

DEMOS OUTSIDE HOME

Octo added that since Kenneth’s death, some unknown youths have been demonstrating outside his home demanding for answers on what transpired with their friend.
