Nyeri governor dead after horror accident while heading to city
Nyeri Governor Dr Wahome Gakuru died on Tuesday morning after being seriously injured in an accident at Makenji, Murang’a county.
He was initially rushed to Thika Hospital awaiting transfer to Nairobi.
His body is being moved to the Lee Fueral Home from Thika.
The governor was travelling to Nairobi for a talk show.
His driver and bodyguard also got injured.
