Nyambane apologises to Donald Kipkorir over clamping incident

A top official at the governor’s office has “unreservedly” apologized to city lawyer Donald Kipkorir for the  clamping of his vehicle by a city parking attendant.

On Thursday, Nairobi News broke the story of how Mr Kipkorir’s Mercedes Benz was clamped, presumably after he delayed or failed to pay the sh300 parking fees.

The incident has however seemingly raised tension within City Hall, Nairobi News understands, leading to Friday’s apology from Governor Evans Kidero’s communication director Walter Mong’are, alias Nyambane.

Nyambane did not give reasons for the rare apology.

Parking fees within Nairobi’s CBD costs Sh300 between Monday and Saturday, a relatively low amount considering Kipkorir’s self publicized expenditure on his personal social media accounts.
