‘Nikita’ actress Maggie Q in Kenya for elephant conservation


American actress Margaret Denise Quigley, professionally known as Maggie Q, who starred in the popular show Nikita, is currently in Kenya to raise awareness for elephant conservation.

The actress is in Kenya is championing for the “Say No” campaign urging consumers not to buy ivory and rhino horn products in 2017.

She has joined her fellow WildAid Ambassadors Yao Ming, Li Bingbing, and Jackie Chan on the subject of animal rights.

On Friday she took time out to bottle feed some orphaned elephants while on her safari at the Tsavo National Park where she encountered orphaned elephants that have been living in the wild for three years now.

“I’m blessed enough to receive orphan love at the rehabilitation center in Nairobi,” she wrote on her Instagram page on Friday.

Maggie Q, who currently stars in ABC’s political drama Designated Survivor, has also starred in action films Mission Impossible III and Live Free or Die Hard.
