Nigerian singer takes another swipe at Lupita


A Nigerian pop singer has lashed at Oscar award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o for accepting to be a brand ambassador for French beauty products manufacturer Lancome.

Controversial singer Dencia, in response to a provocation on Twitter, said Lancome manufactures bleaching creams.

“But they sell bleaching cream though,” Dencia responded to a tweet from a Lupita fan.

The Nigerian born artist based in the US  first took a swipe at Lupita after the latter, in her acceptance speech at the Oscars, said African girls are no longer obliged to use Whitenicious.

Whitenicious is a bleaching cream owned by Dencia.

At the time, she bragged of how she must have been in Lupita’s mind to deserve a mention of her product in an Oscar acceptance speech.
