Ngunyi to Miguna: Take deputy governor job and impeach Sonko

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has advised Nairobi “deputy governor nominee” Miguna Miguna to take the job offer and impeach his boss in 100 days.

Ngunyi took to Twitter to share his unsolicited advice with the lawyer, stating that whether or not Governor Mike Sonko is genuine, Miguna should not throw away the chance.

He went to advice Miguna to read; “Niccolo Machiavelli on HOW to IMPEACH Sonko in 100 DAYS of potholes and Nairobi filth.”

Dr Miguna on Thursday stated that he is unaware of his nomination and termed it as cheap propaganda.

“Mr Mike Sonko and I have not spoken, met or communicated since our gubernatorial debate in July 2017. I will not comment on malicious information, material or cheap propaganda circulating in the social media. Thank you,” he wrote.

Already, Nairobi’s Jubilee Party Ward Representatives have vowed to shoot down Miguna’s nomination.

The party’s Secretary-General Raphael Tuju said Mr Miguna is not a member of the party and described the decision by Mr Sonko to pick him as “nonsense”, arguing that it violates the law.
