Ngong woman stabs lover to death for hugging her friend
Two women are being held by police in Ngong Division after one of them stabbed her lover to death for receiving a passionate hug from the other woman.
One of the women is said to have stabbed her lover on the right side of his chest moments after he insisted on a hug from the other woman whom they had visited in Oloolua area.
The love birds were from a drinking spree when they decided to pass by the friend’s house.
On arrival, the women, who are good friends, hugged. When the owner of the said house stretched her hand for a handshake with her friend’s boyfriend, the intoxicated man insisted on a hug.
After the two hugged, the woman who was accompanying the man felt aggrieved and reached for a kitchen knife and stabbed her boyfriend once.
The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Ngong OCPD George Seda told Nairobi News the two women have been arrested awaiting to be arraigned in court.
“We are in the advanced stages of the investigations before placing charges on the two suspects,” he said.
