Woman on the run after stabbing boyfriend to death


Police have launched a manhunt for a woman who is suspected to have stabbed her boyfriend to death in Gatundu North.

According to the police, Vincent Mwangi Karanja, 28 had started with living the woman only identified as Wanjiku a few weeks ago.

Neighbours told police that the two have had domestic squabble at their house in Kamwangi town.

At around 11pm on Friday night, they were heard arguing culminating in the fatal stabbing of Karanja.

ESCAPED

The suspect is believed to have escaped after the incident. The victim’s body was later found with several stab wounds.

In another incident, police are looking for a man who was recorded on video clip assaulting his wife over claims that she has been cheating on him.

Police in Sultan Hamud, Mukaa Sub-County in Makueni County are looking for the 38-year-old man who has been identified as James Maweu.

ON THE RUN

In the video, the man is heard telling his wife, Margaret Nthambi, that he would beat her up if she doesn’t reveal the man “she has been sleeping with”.

In the shot clip, Nthambi, is seen pinned to the ground with her blue top and white bra torn, exposing her breasts.

She is heard pleading for her life while telling her husband that there is no other man in her life besides him.

The suspect’s whereabouts remain unknown even as the police continue searching for him.
