Wetang’ula blasts Raila after announcing exit from Nasa

Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula has taken his rant on exiting the Nasa coalition online.

Using his famous Bindu Bichenjanga (nothing is permanent) phrase, the senator told off some individuals advocating for successional leadership.

His sentiments come just days after he announced that Ford Kenya had exited the Nasa coalition.

“Instead of responding to issues of appointments from his tribe ODM leader using upstart surrogates to hurl abuses at Weta. Very unhelpful! Having abandoned it’s opposition role, ODM turns it’s guns on its partners. despicable! shame! let the inanity reign like the Tower of Babel. Those perpetuating dynastic leadership think everybody owes them. Bindu  bichenjanga! Nothing lasts forever. God is watching over all of us,” the senator wrote.

Wetang’ula announced his presidential bid on Monday stating that the Nasa coalition was dead. He added that Mr Odinga betrayed Kenyans.

ODM party in a quick rejoinder on Tuesday termed Wetang’ula as a coward who wants to continue riding on conversations surrounding the Nasa coalition.

Through the party secretary general Edwin Sifuna, ODM urged the senator to relinquish House leadership and parliamentary committee positions adding that it was dishonest for Ford Kenya to claim to be out of Nasa, yet hold on to seats in Parliament given to their members by virtue of being members of the coalition.
