Watch two thieves in daring street daylight robbery
Two thieves were caught on camera as they knocked down and stole from a pedestrian right in the middle of a busy street.
The video that was shared online by Crime Watch Nairobi was obtained from a CCTV camera in a nearby building.
The street remains unknown.
It shows the moment the two men who were walking right behind a man who seemed to have been pocketing something was struck down.
The two then empty his pockets and escape on foot as other pedestrians just stand and watch.
He lies on the pavement unconscious for some minutes before a bodaboda rider comes to his aid.
The rider tries to get him on his feet and at some point he can be seen asking for help from bystanders some who walk away.
The video ends with no sign of him having recovered from the striking as the confused rider looks around for help.
