WATCH: Police officers put guns aside to get down to ‘Kwangwaru’ hit

A video of two Kenyan policemen getting down to Harmonize’s popular ‘Kwangwaru‘ hit has gone viral on social media platforms.

The two Administration Police officers took time off official duties to shake a leg in what looked like a police base.

One of the officer’s passionate dance and wild gesticulations matching the lyrics are laudable. He seamlessly moves from “kupiga deki” to “kulenga pool” just as the lyrics in the song call for one to bend over.

His colleague showed better mastery of the ‘Kwangwaru’ dance and even spins a 360 while at it to the amusement of onlookers.

The video comes just days after President Uhuru Kenyatta unveiled reforms to the police service that includes a much maligned new uniform

The two officer’s ‘Kwangwaru’ moves have now gone viral with hundreds of Kenyans watching and sharing.

Some joked that the policemen were happy to be assigned on roadblock duties, traditionally a hot spot for bribes.
