Uhuru, Margaret showcase ‘Odi Dance’ moves during Christmas bash – VIDEO and PHOTOS


President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta over the weekend let loose and showed off their dancing skills in a spectacle that excited hundreds of children who the First Family hosted at State House, Nairobi.

As is the norm, on Saturday the First Family hosted hundreds of children from various orphanages for a Christmas party, which turned into an unforgettable moment of fun and laughter.

FUN AND LAUGHTER

Food and drinks were in plenty as well as live music, bouncing castles, virtual reality, arts and other fun games which put a smile on the faces of the children.

The President and the First Lady also led the children in cutting a giant cake, singing Christmas carols and in a colorful display of fireworks.

The children were also given a chance to view the cars that are part of the presidential convoy, including the one the founding President Jomo Kenyatta used to ride in.

‘ODI DANCE’

The children also got an opportunity to field questions to the president on a number of issues covering children welfare and the Big Four Agenda.

The standout moment, however, was when the president and his better half took to the podium to dance to the famous Odi Dance gospel track by Timeless.

Granted, the First Couple needed tutoring, but eventually they pulled it off, in an amazing fashion.
