Uhuru confirms Kanze Dena to State House job
President Uhuru Kenyatta has confirmed former TV anchor Kanze Dena as his spokesperson and head of the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU).
Ms Kanze has been undertaking the two roles in an acting capacity for the last three-months after her predecessor Manoah Espisu was appointed Kenya’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom in July this year.
“His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta has confirmed Ms Kellen Kanze Dena to the position of State House Spokesperson and Head of the President’s Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU),” Nzioka Waita, the head of the Presidential Delivery Unit, announced on Friday.
“We wish Ms. Dena success in her new role and ask all stakeholders including PSCU staff, the media and colleagues in Government to accord her the support she needs to excel.”
