Uhuru allies in gun drama


Former MP Simon Mbugua has accused TNA chief Onyango Oloo of pointing a gun at him in a city hotel.

The drama took place at the five-star Hotel Intercontinental during preparations for the party’s Parliamentary Group meeting, as rows over the party leadership intensified.

According to politicians present at the poolside that evening, Mr Mbugua the former MP for Kamakunji, approached  Mr Oloo who was sitting with party executive director Joseph Maathai and asked him to resign over allegations of theft of party funds and botched nominations of County Reps.
