Sonko named global ambassador for his ‘good deeds’

By NYABOGA KIAGE December 11th, 2018 1 min read

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been named the Goods Deeds goodwill Ambassador in Kenya.

The announcement was made on Tuesday after the governor hosted Kaynan Rabino, the chief executive of Ruach Tova, a non-profit organization that organizes the Good Deeds Day.

Governor Sonko’s got the role due to the philanthropic work he has done since he became a politician.

The governor, while receiving the award, said he will ensure the organisation holds a major event in Nairobi next year.

“I am indeed humbled for being named the Good Deeds goodwill ambassador in Kenya. I’ll continue with good deeds in order to promote equality for all citizens,” he said.
