Sonko leaves Uhuru in stitches with breakdance moves at inauguration

Nairobi governor Mike Sonko on Monday treated Nairobians to a breakdance shortly before delivering his inauguration speech.

Governor Sonko had been invited to take the podium by his deputy Polycarp Igathe, but decided to pull off a hilarious breakdance move before hugging Igathe.

The two have made it a norm lately to pull off breakdance moves at public functions.

The dance, performed in the view of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, left guests in raptures at Uhuru Park and even on online platforms.

Here are some of the reactions to Governor Sonko’s breakdance.

During the Sonko-Igathe manifesto launch, the two performed a breakdance similar to the one performed on Monday at Uhuru Park.
