Sonko hosts MPs for Kibera title talks
Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko hosted Lan’gata and Kibra MPs on Wednesday in efforts to thaw relations among Kibera residents over the proposed issuance of a title deed to the Nubian community.
Senator Sonko held a marathon meeting with Lang’ata MP Joshua Olum and his Kibra Counterpart Ken Okoth at his office.
The meeting was so heated, according to reports, that Mr Sonko is said to have detained the MPs over lunch time till they thrashed out the matter.
The meeting preceded another one that the Senator held with Nubian elders.
