Shebesh Challenge becomes a meme sensation on social media
A picture showing Nairobi Women Representative Rachel Shebesh seated cross legged on the sidewalk next to a disabled man has become a meme sensation.
The picture was among a series that subjected Ms Shebesh to ridicule on social media for what many interpreted as as an effort by the legislator to imitate a Safaricom Customer Care attendant who was first pictured aiding a disabled man in the streets of Nairobi.
Another photo captured Ms Shebesh wheeling the man away in a wheelchair as onlookers in Jubilee Party t-shirts watched.
Kenyans on Twitter started the #Shebeshchallenge creating a replica of the two characters in the picture.
