Kenyans on social media have sent numerous happy birthday wishes to Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja as he turned 33 years on Friday.

This after the Senator posted on his social media accounts a picture of himself with both hands extended out while holding the number three on each of them.

“Thank you God for 33 years of Grace, Mercy, Protection and Guidance, Continue guiding and using me to serve your people. I pray for wisdom,” he captioned the picture.

‘SUPER SENATOR’

Mr Sakaja first held an elective position in active politics in 2013 when he was nominated as a Member of Parliament by the Jubilee Coalition.

After serving one term, he contested for and clinched the Nairobi’s senatorial seat on a Jubilee Party ticket against ODM’s Edwin Sifuna.

Sakaja has made a name for himself for championing for the inclusion of the youth in key government positions.

On Twitter, his followers took time to post warm birthday wishes, with many hailing him as a ‘Super Senator’.
