DP Ruto calls for arrest and prosecution of corruption cartels

Deputy President William Ruto has called on the relevant agencies to prosecute culprits of the latest wave of corruption scandals that has rocked the country.

The DP made this statement on Friday, via his social media page.

Ruto also for responsibility, honesty and transparency on the part of public servants.

The DP’s sentiments come amid public outcry over alleged irregular loss of billions of shillings from the National Youth Service and National Cereals and Produce Board.

Public Service Principal secretary Lillian Mbogo is among the senior public servants to have quit office over the corruption allegations.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is however yet to publicly comment on these scandals.
