Proud Sonko reveals how he fathered Saumu while in high school

Flambouyant Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has spilled the beans on how he got his first born while still in high school.

In a post on his Facebook account, the Senator revealed that he got his first born, Saumu Mbuvi, while he was still in Form Four. He however did not reveal the identity of the girl’s mother.

As we are approaching Valentines day its good to be proud of our own blood especially the ones we love. Shes my first born I sired her when I was in Form 4 when I was the most notorious student in Kenya. She’s currently the VICE PRESIDENT JKUAT KAREN.”

The Senator also attached a link to an interview that Saumu had with Ebru TV’s ‘News in Focus‘ programme.

In the interview, the host engaged Saumu on how she copes with life as a politician’s daughter.

Saumu is currently the Vice President of the students union at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Karen campus.

She revealed in the interview that she has always had an interest in politics.

Her decision to run for a post in the students union, she said, was not influenced by her father.
