Pipeline man commits suicide after Manchester United loss
A man killed himself in Pipeline estate on Saturday night after his favorite English Premiere League team Manchester United lost 1-0 to Newcastle United.
Jimmy Macharia, 23, jumped to his death from the 7th floor of the flat he was living in, just minutes after he had told some friends he was watching the match with that the could not bear to watch his favorite team lose again.
His friends describe him as a staunch Manchester United fan and his team losing two home league games in a row in the space of four days, proved to be too much of a disappointment.
Embakasi police confirmed the incident.
