Patient commits suicide at Coptic Hospital


A patient committed suicide at Coptic Hospital in bizarre circumstances on Wednesday after jumping from the fourth floor.

Pauline Cheploke, 30, had been admitted at the hospital along Ngong Road and was undergoing treatment for Hepatitis B.

The matter has since been reported to the police who have launched investigations.

“Pauline Chepolke was being treated for Chronic Hepatitis B jumped from fourth floor through an opened window and fell on the ground. The doctors found her gasping for breath and they tried to resuscitate her but all was in vain.” the police report states.
