Passaris meets ‘Mama Taa’ hit makers

Aspiring Nairobi woman representative Esther Passaris on Friday met the music group that recorded the Mama Taa hit.

The group wrote and recorded a song in praise of Passaris’ work as the chief executive of Adopt-a-light.

Passaris met Kayla Mercy, Onyango Mayienga and Milto Carlos, the faces behind the song.

The businesswoman will be seeking to unseat Jubilee Party’s Rachel Shebesh who is the current woman representative.

Passaris recently extended an olive branch putting her political differences with Shebesh aside to visit her in hospital.

It was after her visit that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, who are the leaders of Jubilee Party, visited the ailing Shebesh.

A wheelchair bound Shebesh then later went on to present her nomination papers and was cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
