Oppo partners with Jumia market to offer gadgets online

Oppo F3 phone is now available on the online retailer Jumia as the brand seeks its increase sales in Kenya.

The brand is confident the partnership with Jumia will provide a secure way for consumers to buy thephone online.

”The Kenyan mobile phone market offers a favourable competitive landscape; this partnership will give our users a wide range of choice and will see them enjoy the best mobile phones at the most affordable prices” said Oppo Kenya CEO Mr Andrew Peng.

A recent Jumia research on smartphone trends in Africa noted that Kenyans are becoming more trusting of e-commerce websites, with more of them willing to purchase items online.

The Oppo F3, launched a fortnight ago, is among Oppo phones available through the e-commerce platform.

“Majority of our target audience conducts most of their professional and social activities online which makes this deal with Jumia a natural progression for our brand,” Mr Andrew added.
