CHRISTMAS GIFT

Kenyans on Twitter as usual had something to say with most of them applauding the ruling, which they termed as an early Christmas gift to Dr Miguna.

“Justice Chacha Mwita rules that Miguna is Kenyan. His rights were infringed and so he is a Kenyan citizen by birth. Damages Kshs 7 million. Viva Dr Miguna Miguna,” tweeted Wafula Kerre.

“Miguna Miguna had gone for a paid vacation,” said arnoldomutiti.

COURT DECISION

“The landmark decision of allowing Miguna Miguna back and awarding him 7m in damages is welcome and serves as a wake up call to oppressive state actors. In hindsight, it is gonna put the courts at collision paths with the state? Who awaits implementation of this ruling like I do?” asked Thaddaeus Oroo.

“So High Court Justice Chacha Mwita gives an early Christmas of Sh7million to Miguna Miguna,” wrote Jemo-kin.

“This is a fact long overdue. Patriots & comrades knew all along that Miguna Miguna was a Kenyan citizen by birth. Thank you Justice Chacha Mwita for affirming it. Triumphant day for the Rule Of Law. Now,” commented Joe Mwangi.
