ODM officials leave Diamond stranded at JKIA for hours

Tanzanian artist Diamond Platinumz was on Thursday left stranded by ODM officials after landing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The Utanipenda hit maker landed at 1pm from the US and to his shock, there were no arrangements done to take him to Mombasa where he was scheduled to perform.

Diamond has been booked by the ODM party to perform during its 10 years anniversary celebrations in Mama Ngina Drive, Mombasa.

Sources say the bongo star reached out to some of his Nairobi friends for help and left the country for Dar es Salaam at 6pm after failing to get his travel arrangements to Mombasa.

ODM party officials, however, followed Diamond to Dar es Salaam where proper discussions and arrangements were done before he flew back to Nairobi on Friday.

The Aje hit maker is also reportedly cashing in Sh3million to perform in Mombasa.

Kiba’s flight shot was shared by a Clouds FM presenter who was coming to Nairobi for Coke Studio shoot.

The two Tanzanian artists will perform on one stage with dozens of Coastal artists among them Susumila and Nyota Ndogo who are reportedly taking home Sh100, 000 each, for their performances at the ODM party 10th anniversary.
