Obama’s half-brother flaunts early vote for Trump

President Barack Obama’s half-brother Malik casted an early vote for Republican candidate Donald Trump in the state of Maryland and flaunted it on Twitter.

Malik shared an image of his ballot paper marked in favour of Trump on Twitter.

He urged Americans to vote for the Republican candidate.

Maryland permits a week of early voting from October 27 to November 3. Malik sai he cast his vote on October 31.

Meanwhile German broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) had on Monday apologised to Malik.

Malik had been interviewed by the TV station on November 4 regarding his early vote and towards the end of the interview he was abruptly cut off.

He took to Twitter to accuse DW of being corrupt, prompting a reply by the presenter Brent Goff who explained that they had run out of time.

Malik never responded to the presenter and so on Monday, the television station once again explained why Malik was cut off.

Trump has in the past accused American media of being biased in the coverage of the US general election.
