Mudavadi: How I met the love of my life Tessie

Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has gone public on the details of how he met his better half – Tessie.

During an interview with a local television station on Tuesday morning, the seasoned politician also revealed that he joined politics by “accident”.

He also confirmed his intention to contest for the Presidency for the second time in 2017.

On his first ever meeting with Tessie, Mudavadi revealed: “I went to this fundraiser in Lugari and it so happened that one of the board members of that school had come along with some very beautiful members of his family.”

“Later we went for lunch at this board member’s house and this beautiful lady was there. The rest is history,” said Mudavadi.

The former vice President has been married to Tesssie for over 20 years and the couple has three children, Mike, Maryanne and Moses

Mudavadi, who has been on a whirlwind tour across the country after the launch of this new party ANC, says he was compelled to quit his job in the private sector and join politics following the death of his father Moses Mudavadi- who was also a politician.

The former Finance and Trade Minister accused the Jubilee government of “fumbling” with answers on the Eurobond saga.
