Mr Ibu requests to meet his ‘brother’ Matiang’i


Nigerian comedian John Okafor aka Mr Ibu has cheekily requested to meet his look-alike and “brother”, Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

The Nollywood actor alongside, his compatriots Kenneth Okwonkwo and Tonto Dikeh, is visiting Nairobi following an invite by top organizations to help build the country’s entertainment industry and promote peace in a concert tagged International Peace Concert.

And while commenting on national TV over his his resemblance with the powerful Education Cabinet Secretary, the 56 year Okafor also blamed his father for not introducing him to Matiang’i early enough.

“Kenyans have shocked me today. They show me one commissioner that looks like me. Commissioner for Education. He looks like me. Ogah, I beg, I want to see you. I want to see you, I beg. I blame my father (for not meeting you earlier). I want to see you because blood is thicker than water. Please, anybody who hears this message pass it to the Minister for Education Dr Matiang’i,” Mr Ibu said with a touch of humour.
