Mr Ogalo allegedly forged the document and purported it to be a genuine one issued by Kenya Revenue Authority.

The document was allegedly from the department of domestic taxes and signed by one Mr John Orioro.

Prosecution says he intended to use the document to defraud Mr Benson Ritho Mureithi.

According to the prosecution, the accused committed the offence on or before March 6 2008.

The MP was contracted as a surveyor by Mr Mureithi to subdivide the land

He is also accused of inducing Ms Jacinta Nyawira Kingi to accept a sales agreement for subdivided plots with intent to defraud her into believing he was in a capacity to sell her the parcels of land.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on October 7, 2009 at Nairobi County.

The court had on Friday last week issued summons to the MP to appear in court.
