Moses Kuria deserted as friends ‘left’ book launch WhatsApp group in droves

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been left in shock after many of his “friends” left a WhatsApp group he opened inviting them to dinner cum launch of his book.

At least 15 out of 256 people left within the first hour of him opening the group. Many others excused themselves feigning various engagements on the day of the event.

The controversial MP is set to launch his book this Friday, March 17 at 7pm. The event will also serve as a fundraising dinner for Mr Kuria’s re-election campaign.

Mr Kuria is set to launch the book titled Telling It As It Is which promises to capture the country’s political journey in 150 opinion articles he claims he started writing as a student leader at the University of Nairobi and later as a politician.

None of his friends gave a reason for leaving the group. One of those still in the group wondered: “Mheshimiwa how come people are ‘lefting’ the group so fast?”
