Matiang’i makes KCPE candidates happy with news of no results cancellation
Kenyans on Twitter have heaped praises on Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i for his efforts of curbing examination cheating in the country.
While announcing the results of this year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) on Thursday morning, the CS said for the first time in history there was no examination cancellation due to cheating.
Mr Matiang’i announced the results weeks earlier from the usual announcement dates that are usually made after the Christmas holidays.
Netizens congratulated Mr Matiang’i asking other cabinet secretaries to emulate him.
