Love rival charged with attempting to kill K’Osewe owner

The man who shot Ranalo Foods owner William Osewe was on Friday charged with attempted murder.

Mr Tom Oywa Mboya, a licensed firearm holder, pleaded not guilty and has been released on a Sh300,000 cash bail.

The case will be mentioned on December 23 for futher directions.

Mr Mboya shot Mr Osewe two times in the stomach and on the neck in Kasarani on December 1 following a quarrel ‘ over a woman’.

In his statement to the police, Mr Mboya said that Mr Osewe had confronted him at an eatery called Hagon, accusing him of having an affair with his wife.

Ms Osewe is currently recovering after undergoing surgery to remove a bullet that was lodged in his abdomen.
