If indeed the Ugandan striker leaves, then K’Ogalo will only spot the inexperienced Timothy Otieno as the only notable striker.

There are also reports that Gor Mahia are looking to buy Sofapaka’s wonder kid Abdul Fiston, Batoto ba Mungu President Elly Kalekwa maintains that the striker is not for sale.

QUALITY PLAYERS

“We have to make new purchases to replace those who will leave and also to beef up the squad as we seek to launch an assault in the continental stage,” club chairman Ambrose Rachier told Nairobi News.

League runners up, Sofapaka, on the on the hand, boast of an already solid squad, but even Kalekwa admits that they will have to sign quality players if they are to stand a chance in their continental assignments.

Ingwe had a below par performance last season and if the reports of player dissent is anything to go by, the team is likely to contend with a mass exodus ahead of the 2015 window.
