KOT roast BBC over headline on new coins
The British Broadcasting Corporation thinks that Kenya replaced leaders with animals on its new generation coins and Kenyans don’t like it.
In a headline published Tuesday, BBC said “Kenya money coins replace leaders with animals”.
That did not go well with Kenyans on Twitter.
Waiyaki @Waiyaki_254; “Yes… Animals behave better than our leaders.”
David West @arsenalcode; “May the currency not decline in value the way we are are letting these animals decline in numbers, to near extinction.”
Douglas Mwale @douglas_mwale; “BBC have some respect. @LarryMadowo see what your employer is saying about your country.”
Titus Muema @MuemaTitus; “@BBCAfrica ,the headline is made to disrespect Kenyans, you must stop cilly colonial tendencies and attitudes towards Africans #Kenyan resist BBC media.”
Capt. Onyango ✡ @NotJustOkVC; “That’s what hurts us….TRUTH!!”
