By PETER MBURU December 23rd, 2018 2 min read

Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has no space to breathe on his Twitter account, after he celebrated the good performance of one of his children in this year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations.

Shortly after the announcement of the results on Friday, Dr Khalwale took to Twitter to celebrate and thank his daughter, Linda Lichuma Khalwale, for her exemplary performance.

Khalwale’s daughter, who is a former student of Alliance Girls’ High School, scored a mean grade of A- minus.

My family en I can’t find the appropriate words to thank God en the Alliance Girls’ High School for shaping my dota, Linda, into a super star in the 2018 KCSE. Congratulations my little Shipeng! And Thank You Lord! pic.twitter.com/ly4g9lxDkv

The former senator is known to celebrate good results by his children on the social media, to the amusement of Kenyans on Twitter.

But rather than joining in the celebration, some Kenyans on Twitter took the opportunity to poke fun at the legislator’s seemingly large family.

ONLINE REACTIONS

“Congrats, lakini mishale nayo umerusha vilivyo mkubwa. Every year and every exam. Lol,” commented Nyamagwa Erick.

Wanjiku Mugane wrote: “Every year you got a KCPE and KCSE candidate just wondering how many kids you have. Good thing they are all intelligent.”

“Congratulations to the girl… btw, you seem to have a candidate in each stage of the 8-4-4 system. Congratulations for that too Sir,” said Babu Njeule.

And there are those who openly hated on the former Member of Parliament.

“Anakaa kurudia sana…” said Meshack Musyoky.

“The one who cleared Class 8 this year was admitted to which school? You never told us as you usually do,” quipped Philosopher.

But there were some few genuine compliments.

“You were blessed with kids then they were blessed with brains. Truly happy for you,” commented the politician.
