Jamaican singer Alaine in Kenya
Celebrated Jamaican reggae singer Alaine is in Nairobi.
The Nairobi News has learnt that the reggae sensation secretly jetted into the country on Wednesday night.
She is expected to travel to Juba, South Sudan, Friday at midday where she is scheduled to perform on Saturday night.
She is set to travel with one of Kenya’s top reggae DJs, Kriss Darlin, who will be the official DJ for the show.
On Thursday night, Alaine made a surprise appearance at Kriss Darlin’s ‘Uptown Thursdays’ theme night at K1 Klubhouse in Parklands.
This is the second time for Alaine to be in Kenya this year.
She was the star performer in early September at the Xtravaganza concert held at the City Cabanas.
One of her biggest songs this year is a collaboration with Kenya’s dancehall star Wyre, in the song ‘Nakupenda Pia’, which has been doing well in the charts and clubs.
