Itumbi is not about to stop offering Maribe shoulder to lean on

State House Secretary of Digital Communication Dennis Itumbi has proven that his support for journalist Jacque Maribe will not falter any time soon, the harsh criticism online notwithstanding.

During Maribe’s stay in remand over charges of murdering Nairobi businesswoman Monica Kimani, Itumbi wrote numerous posts on social media to show his solidarity with TV journalist.

COURT SESSION

Well, he appears to be keeping his word if a photo of him sitting together with Maribe and her father is anything to go buy.

The pictures, which did not fail to get reactions from Kenyans online, captures him seated in-between Maribe and her father following Tuesday’s court proceedings.

PENDING TRIAL

Itumbi has all along been ridiculed for his unreserved affection for Maribe, who is engaged to her co-accused in the murder case, Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu.

Maribe was released on bond on October 30 pending trial sometime next year while Jowie will remain in court over that duration.
