How Wasafi Festival went down in Mombasa – PHOTOS

Bongo Star Diamond Platnumz led his team of Wasafi Records artistes in an electrifying performance at the Wasafi Festival in Mombasa.

The concert at Mombasa Sports Club was thronged by hundreds of revelers from Mombasa and upcountry.

The Wasafi musicians included Rayvanny, Queen Darleen, Lava Lava and Mbosso. They lived up to their reputation as among the top entertainers in East Africa with their performance at the concert.

They were joined by their Kenyan counterparts including Khaligraph Jones, Timmy TDAT, Arrow Bwoy and Naiboi.

The well attended show was opened by Mombasa’s finest Susumila and Dazla before the others followed.

The performances altered between a Kenyan singer and a Wasafi’s musician.

Both the Kenyan and Tanzanian artists felt the love from their fans who sang along during performances.

Lava Lava and Mbosso of Wasafi seemed to thrill the crowd the most as the revelers sang their lyrics from start to end.

“Hawa hata hawaimbii maana kila mmoja ajua nyimbo zao,” one of the fan was overheard.

The breathtaking performances ended at around 4am before the crowd were left for a good music from the DJs.
