“He told me to open my bedroom door where my two children were still asleep. Then he ordered me to open the back door and close it and remain silent or else he would shoot me through the window. All this time he had the gun pointed at me and my children.”

CALLED THE POLICE

Victoria she said she did as the suspect ordered before she took her children to a neighbour’s house. The neighbour immediately called the police who arrived within minutes.

The police used the neighbours house to access the back yard where the thug was hiding.

According to police officers at the scene of the incident who spoke to Nairobi News the suspect fired the first shot at the police who returned fire killing him instantly.

A pistol and several rounds of ammunition were recovered from the slain suspect.
