Ghanaian business mogul talks money and politics – VIDEO
Ghanaian investor Eric Osiakwan has urged Kenyan youth to vote in peace and treat the forthcoming general election as just another part of life.
In an exclusive interview with Nairobi News Mr Osiakwan cited the critical role that Kenya plays in the region.
“I have investment in Kenya, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Ghana. Kenya is a major player in the region and it’s important that we have a smooth election,” Osiakwan said.
Mr Osiakwan was in town to seal a number of deals and also to attend to some speaking engagements.
The mogul has made his fortunes in the IT field, establishing himself as Africa’s leading venture capitalist.
Through Angle Fair Africa, Mr Osiakwan has helped African startups and scale-ups to secure about Sh 2.6 billion in funding.
