Flamboyant lawyer whisks daughter to England for studies


City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has taken his daughter to study in England.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Mr Kipkorir asked God to take care if his daughter as she takes her studies abroad.

“Tonight, my girl left for England to begin her University Studies …. May the Good Lord Bless her … May the Lord shine His face upon her ….. May the Lord be Gracious to her … May the Lord lift His Countenance upon her & give her peace,” read his post.

The lawyer did not give details of the academic course his daughter will be taking.

The United Kingdom has among the world’s highest high education fees, with the lowest cost of tuition fees said to be $13,050 (Sh 1,305,000) annually.

UK is also known to be expensive to students with the cost of living in a residential hall costing between Sh 6,050 and Sh8, 000 per week.

Living in a residential hall is considered the cheapest.
