Five arrested for gang-raping 13 year-old girl
Detectives in Tana River county have arrested five men accused of kidnapping and gang-raping a 13-year- old girl.
The five men identified as Said Omar, Galgalo Athumani, Athumani Mohamed, Yasir Mohamed, and Dero Juma are accused of committing the offense in Ovo forest.

They kidnapped the girl and took her to Ovo forest where they gang-raped her in turns.
The 13-year-old victim is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Tana River.
During the arrest, two more suspects managed to escape and are being sought by the detectives.
The five who were arrested will be arraigned in court.
In December last year, a six-year-old girl was kidnapped, raped and murdered in Kiserian in Kajiado County. According to the police report, she was gang-raped by 15 suspects who later slit her throat and drunk her blood.
