Donholm matatu conductors washed in public


Drama unfolded at Kisumu Ndogo in Donholm on Friday morning after three matatu conductors were forced to take a shower in public.

Two of them, identified as Juju and James, are said to have not showered for over two months.

The odor from their bodies is said to have been awful.

“Passengers in matatus have been complaining of foul smell from matatu conductors and this is working negatively on our business,” said one of the men who took the conductors through the shower.

Residents milled at the scene to watch as determined colleagues used detergent soaps and hard brushes to scrub the three men.

“We will ensure that all conductors maintain cleanliness,” one of the conductor’s was heard saying.
