Donald Trump’s Rabbi prays for Kidero’s re-election

A Rabbi who prayed for Donald Trump’s presidential bid has called for unity and peace in Kenya ahead of the August polls.

Speaking to the media after meeting Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Kidero at City Hall on Tuesday, Rabbi Kirt Schneider prayed for the country to have a peaceful elections.

He also prayed for the re-election of Dr Kidero as Nairobi Governor.

“I am here to pray for Governor Dr Evans Kidero to be re-elected. I have also prayed for a peaceful electioneering period and unity in the country,” said Schneider.

Rabbi Schneider is famous for being part of the 40 priests who prayed for United States President Donald Trump before his election in November last year.

He is in a four-day visit in the country and is scheduled to meet 300 priests in Nakuru.

The priest said that he had been broadcasting the word of God on Family TV for the last four years and has visited Kenya numerous times.

Rabbi Schneider announced that he would hold a major crusade in 2018 in Kenya which Dr Kidero will attend as the governor of Nairobi.

“In 2008, more than a thousand people died in the country and the problem started in Nairobi. That is why we are asking for prayers because when Nairobi is peaceful then Kenya is peaceful,” said Kidero.
