Detectives on Thursday night raided two strip clubs in Westlands, Nairobi and arrested 21 Nepalese female strippers.

Detectives on Thursday night raided two strip clubs in Westlands, Nairobi and arrested 21 Nepalese female strippers.

The officers were drawn from the Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit and the Transnational Organized Crime Unit of the Directorate  of Criminal Investigations.

The two clubs are located on Mogotio Road in Westlands.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said on Twitter that the 21 girls had been trafficked to Kenya for exploitation.

During the raid, three people were arrested and will be charged for various offences under The Counter-Trafficking in Persons Act.

Interior CS Fred Matiang’i is leading the war on aliens and has warned foreigners to regularize their stay or be kicked out.
