Dennis Itumbi’s kissing partner features on Google’s top search trends
Citizen TV’s Jacque Maribe was the fourth most googled person in Kenya in February after a photo of her kissing State House digital director Dennis Itumbi emerged online.
In this month’s Google search trends, the political reporter managed to arouse curiosity beating even football searches.
Former Tusker Project Fame Season 1 contestant Linda Muthama was in the top 10 searches after she confirmed that she had separated with Walter Mong’are aka Nyambane.
The top search of the month was the late Kabete MP George Muchai who was shot dead by unknown assailants together with his driver and two bodyguards along Kenyatta Avenue early morning on February 7.
The late musician Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina was the second most searched owing to her health condition as she has been in a coma since January 31 and was expected to be taken off life support during her mother’s third memorial in February.

Valentines was the third most googled item in February being the month of love.
“It emerged the third trending search and some of the searches related to this day were; Valentine messages, Valentine quotes, gifts, travel destination and dating sites,” read a statement from Google Inc.
The incident of Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe falling while descending from a podium in Harare on February 4 made “Mugabe Falls” the fifth search trend.
Former Head of Public Service, Ambassador Francis Muthaura, was ranked sixth probably after speculations on his ill health.
Chelsea versus Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) was ranked seventh due to match played February 17 in which they drew 1-1.
Samwel Kipkemoi Sang aka Junior Kotestes, a renowned singer who passed away after a pneumonia attack also trended during the month.
Afcon Final closed up the list of top 10 searches with people searching the final fixtures between Ivory Coast and Ghana in which Ivory Coast were crowned Africa’s football champions on February 8.
