Body of Kenyan single mum found rotting in her house in US
The decomposing body of a Kenyan woman was found in her house in Austell, Georgia, on Friday after she failed to report to work for three days.
Her absence from the workplace had prompted her colleagues to raise the alarm.
Anne Wairimu Maina is believed to have died on Tuesday last week, according to reports from the Cobb county coroner’s office.
“The body was in a bad shape by the time we arrived at the scene and must have been lying in the house for at least four days,” said the source.
Asked whether they suspected any foul play, she said: “All I can tell you is that she had medical issues.”
