300 cooks hired to feed mourners at Nderitu Gachagua’s burial – PHOTOS
The family of deceased Nyeri governor Nderitu Gachagua has hired 300 cooks to satiate the appetite of mourners expected at the burial.
Mr Gachagua will be laid to rest on Monday at his rural home in Mthira Constituency, in a ceremony expected to be attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Gachagua died on February 24 in a London hospital where he was eceiving treatment for pancreatic cancer.
The family projects at least 30, 000 mourners will attend the burial.
The 300 cooks were sourced from 20 women and youth groups across central Kenya region.
